About Hal

Hal Houghton, voice actor Voice actor Hal Houghton was born in upstate New York. His travels have taken him to many states and different countries. He also attended a war that someone was giving. All of these experiences, and many more, exposed him to not only amazing places, but also to memorable people.

Hal has multiple degrees in English and Business, and spent over 18 years in corporate America before deciding that he and it were not even a distant match. With that realization understood, Hal entered the field of voice acting. His experience in this field ranges from small one-line voiceovers to being the narrator for a two-hour movie.

Hal has published his own book entitled Journeys, a collection of places and people remembered. Hal has been married for over 35 years. His wife is an educator and children's public access TV personality. His son has returned to school to pursue a new degree, and his daughter is a musician and vegan lifestyle blogger.

Voiceover work is very important to Hal. He tries to use the range of characters and causes it addresses as a positive force.
